This product is part of our “Buy one, Sow one” collection. For each pole we sell, we sow an Andean cedar in Omacha, Cuzco. We do this hand in hand with the NGO, Pachamama Raymi. They carry out a program in these communities to help families learn how to manage this resource in a sustainable and responsible manner. In this way, they plant prosperity since the commercialization of wood can become a long-term economic income. This action aligns perfectly with our purpose since an additional economic income has direct repercussions in helping to improve your quality of life.
This product is made by the Ancon 2 prison inmates. A very nice project in which we have helped to implement a workshop and train inmates not only in clothing but also in stamping. We achieve a top quality product of which we feel highly proud. There are more than 15 inmates who today enjoy decent work.
Making our collections of poles is an extension of this project that began with the preparation of our solidarity jackets for the inmates. The fact of making solidarity jackets in the prison so that a population in a situation of vulnerability, such as inmates, can help another population in a situation of vulnerability, such as children in the Andes. This is only possible thanks to you who trust us and our products.
