This product is part of our collection ‘Buy One, Plant One.’ For every singlet we sell, we plant an Andean Cedar in Omacha, Cusco. We do this in partnership with the NGO Pachamama Raymi. They run a program in these communities to help the families learn how to sustainably and responsibly, manage this resource so, the sale of the timber, can later become an additional long-term income source. This action aligns with our purpose as an additional income source speaks directly to helping improve their quality of life.
The design for this product reflects the native woven pattern of Huamachuco, a town north of Peru. The colours chosen are grey and an array of strong colours. The multi colour pattern represents the colours of the patron of the town of Pucayali. The grey represents the multi phaceted nature of life. So we don’t lose track of who we are trying to help, so we never forget why hösėg exists.
We are very careful and demand our suppliers to produce high quality products. We have quality assurance personnel to review every piece of clothing that goes to our stores. Nevertheless, if your purchase has any fabric defect, we will immediately replace it with a new one.
